In 2026 we are proud to begin a new venture at East Poplar Livestock Co. by offering commercial bred heifers for sale. The purchase of additional pasture has given us the opportunity to grow our program, and we are excited to share the results of that expansion. This marks an important step forward for us as we continue to build cattle that are functional, reliable, and well suited to today’s commercial cattle industry.

This year we are offering nearly 120 Red and Black Angus cross heifers. These females have been handled with care from the start and represent the type of cattle we are proud to stand behind. All heifers were AI bred once to leading sires and then turned out with carefully selected herd bulls. The bulls we chose were not an afterthought — they were sourced for their proven track record of calving ease, maternal strength, and balanced performance.

Our goal is to provide cattle that will go to work in your operation from day one. Whether you are looking to expand your herd or add a uniform group of replacement females, these heifers are built to deliver longevity, fertility, and consistent calves year after year.
